This feature key unlocks touchscreen functionality on your iCompel™ appliance.
With this license, screens can be configured to respond to a touch anywhere on the panel or react differently when pressed in different areas of the panel. Touching a specific zone causes a command to be issued to the iCompel, which, in turn, causes the media being played to change.
Each on-screen zone can have an independent playlist for touch interactivity. You can even set a zone within the screen to play HTML media. When a user touches that zone, they can interact with a Web page you specify - great for putting your electronic product catalog before any audience!
Only one ICOMP-TOUCH key is needed for digital signage applications consisting of a single iCompel unit. For applications with multiple iCompel units (such as a publisher communicating with one or more subscriber units), you'll need a feature key for the publisher and a feature key for each subscriber unit connected to the USB HID touchscreen display.

NOTE: iCOMPEL supports the USB HID touchscreen protocol only, so the touchscreen displays you use with iCOMPEL must also support USB HID touch. For convenient ordering, Black Box offers NEC®/3M® Touchscreen LCDs that are tested to work optimally with an iCOMPEL that has the touchscreen feature key activated.
